Tax Department

The Hot Springs Tax Department manages the billing, collection, and administration of municipal property taxes. These local tax revenues help fund essential town services, infrastructure, and daily operations that support residents and property owners.

Hot Springs Tax Department

The Hot Springs Tax Department is responsible for:

  • Issuing municipal tax bills
  • Collecting tax payments and providing receipts
  • Maintaining municipal tax records
  • Applying interest and penalties when required
  • Assisting with general questions about town tax bills and payment status

Property Valuations

Property valuations are determined by the county tax office, not the Town.

The county establishes assessed values through its appraisal and revaluation process, and those valuations are passed on to the Town to calculate municipal property taxes.

If you have questions about:

  • Assessed value
  • Reappraisals
  • Parcel details
  • Appeals

…you will typically need to contact the Madison County tax office.
