Calendar
The Town of Hot Springs hosts monthly town meetings to oversee and coordinate the wide range of public services provided to our residents and visitors. From infrastructure projects and public safety to partnerships with volunteer and federal agencies, these meetings are where our community’s business is handled with transparency. By participating in these sessions, you play a vital role in ensuring these services keep Hot Springs safe, connected, and thriving.
Welcome to Your Local Government
The heart of Hot Springs is its people. Our town meetings are the primary forum where residents and local leaders come together to shape the future of our community. Whether we are discussing policy, local infrastructure, or upcoming seasonal events, every voice helps maintain the unique character of our town.

Why Participate?
These sessions are more than just legal requirements; they are an opportunity for you to stay informed and stay involved. We encourage all residents to attend, listen to progress reports, and contribute to the dialogue that keeps Hot Springs a vibrant place to live, work, and visit.
Meeting Schedule
When: 2nd Monday of every month at 6:00 PM.
Where: Hot Springs Community Center (unless otherwise noted).
Public Comment/Agenda: Each meeting begins with a designated public comment period, during which community members may address the Board.
Individuals wishing to be placed on the meeting agenda must contact the Mayor at least ten (10) days prior to the scheduled meeting.
Members of the public who are not on the agenda are limited to two (2) minutes of speaking time. Individuals who are listed on the agenda may speak for up to five (5) minutes.
In North Carolina, town boards are not required to respond to comments during the public comment period. This time is intended for Board members to listen to citizen input. While members may ask clarifying questions, summarize feedback at a later time, or direct staff to follow up, the public comment period is not a forum for debate or immediate action.
