Elected Officials
The Town of Hot Springs is governed by a Mayor and a three-member Board of Aldermen. Together, they set policy, adopt ordinances, and guide the overall direction of the town on behalf of its residents.

Municipal elections are held every two years in odd-numbered years. Beginning with the 2027 election, officials will serve four-year terms, and those terms will be staggered to provide continuity in town leadership. In one election cycle, the Mayor and one Alderman will be elected. In the following election cycle, the remaining two Aldermen will be elected. This staggered system helps ensure experienced leadership while allowing regular opportunities for public participation in local government.
