Administrative Note: Please be aware that during certain town projects, administrative staff may be available at the Hot Springs Community Center (43 N. Andrews Ave). It is always best to call ahead for appointment-based services.
🗳️ Mayor & Board of Aldermen
The Town of Hot Springs operates under a Mayor-Council form of government. The Board of Aldermen is responsible for establishing town policies, passing local ordinances, and approving the annual municipal budget.
- Public Meetings: The Board of Aldermen meets on the second Monday of every month at 6:00 PM.
- Location: Meetings are held at the Hot Springs Community Center and are open to the public.

🔧 Municipal Services & Departments
The Town Hall coordinates several departments to maintain the infrastructure and safety of the community:

| Water & Sewer | Billing for municipal water services and wastewater management. |

| Zoning & Planning | Land use permits, signage regulations, and historic preservation. |
| Public Safety | Coordination with the Hot Springs Police and Volunteer Fire Dept. |
📝 Resident & Visitor Resources
- Utility Payments: Water, sewer, and sanitation bills can be paid in person at Town Hall via cash, check, or money order.
- Tax Payments: Municipal taxes may be paid in person at Town Hall by cash, check, or money order. Taxes must be paid no later than January 5 to avoid the accrual of interest.
- Notary Public Services: Notary services are often available during standard office hours; please call to confirm a notary is on-site.

Hot Springs is proud of its status as a Trail Town. Town Hall works closely with the Appalachian Trail Conservancy and the US Forest Service to manage the influx of hikers and tourists while ensuring the high quality of life for our permanent residents.
