The Town of Hot Springs is accepting proposals from qualified, independent auditing firms to provide annual audit services for fiscal years 2026 through 2028. This is an opportunity for experienced governmental auditors to partner with our small but active municipality as we continue building strong financial practices for our community.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a licensed CPA firm with demonstrated experience in governmental auditing, including familiarity with North Carolina Local Government Commission requirements, Government Auditing Standards, and federal Uniform Guidance. Firms must be registered with the NC State Board of CPA Examiners and will need to provide a current peer review report with their proposal.
How to Submit a Proposal
Proposals should be submitted in two sections: firm qualifications and experience, and a sealed cost estimate. Submissions may be made by email or by paper delivery to the Finance Office. Full details, including required formatting and content for each section, are available in the RFP document below.
