Town maintenance crews have finished repairing the water main break on Woody’s Lane off River Road.
As of 7:22 p.m., the Town of Hot Springs has issued a boil water advisory for areas east of the river along:
- River Road
- Silvermine Road
- Gahagans Road
- Berry Wills Road
What to do: If you live in these areas, bring your water to a rolling boil for one minute. Let it cool before use. Use boiled or bottled water for:
- Drinking
- Cooking
- Brushing teeth
- Making ice
- Washing fruits and vegetables
- Mixing baby formula
What happens next: Crews will test the water on Wednesday, September 23. Results should come back 24 to 36 hours after testing. Keep boiling your water until the town announces the advisory is lifted. We will update this notice when the advisory ends.

On Tuesday, September 22, 2026, a water main broke on Woody’s Lane off River Road. Town maintenance crews are on site and working to repair it. The work will continue late into the night.
Residents should expect water pressure to drop during the repair. Please save water until the work is complete. Put off laundry and running the dishwasher, keep showers short, and turn off taps when you are not using them.
Please avoid the area while crews are working. This keeps both residents and workers safe.
