The Public Information Officer (PIO) serves as the primary point of contact for public communications for the Town of Hot Springs. This role is responsible for sharing accurate, timely, and transparent information with residents, visitors, and partner agencies, particularly during emergencies, public works updates, and municipal initiatives. The PIO coordinates official announcements, manages public notices and advisories, supports emergency communications, and helps ensure that town information is accessible and clearly communicated across digital platforms. Resilient Water: Hot Springs Awarded $10 Million for Critical Infrastructure Repairs

Hot Springs has been awarded $10M from the NC DEQ to fortify water and sewer systems post-Helene. Split evenly for drinking water and wastewater, this ensures our utilities are restored and built back more resilient.
