The Town of Hot Springs Board of Aldermen met on July 13, 2026, and conducted routine board business before turning to the main item on the agenda: a public hearing on three projects the town is preparing to submit for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding through the North Carolina Department of Commerce.

On May 21st, the Town of Hot Springs and Rebuild Hot Springs Area hosted the second community design session for the Andrews Ave Community Center and Old Jail. Four volunteer architects and designers presented conceptual plans for the property’s future.
The Hot Springs Gravel Gauntlet takes place Friday, May 15th and Saturday, May 16th, bringing over 400 riders to our roads. Expect bicycle traffic on US 25/70 and River Road, with wave starts at 9:00, 9:30, and 10:00 AM on Saturday. Slow down and watch for riders.
